everything looks as if it went well. mysql jail is working as is my ups. i did get a warning about my pools - New feature flags are available - i think i'll wait a couple of days then if there are no problems i'll upgrade the zfs pool.

Was there a ZFS feature flag change? either I'm blind or something because I cannot find any notes about it.

Upgraded from 9.10.2-U4 without a hitch. Great job!

I'm curious about one thing, though. The experimental UI shows the space used by each boot environment, and my 11.0-RELEASE boot environment is using 6.9GB. Is this normal?

The same screen also shows 9.3-STABLE used about 120MB, increasing to about 630MB since 9.10.1-U2 then stayed roughly that size up to 9.10.2-U4. Then the big jump for 11.0-RELEASE.

I use a 120GB SSD for boot so it's not an immediate concern personally. But I know a lot of people use 16GB USB drives for boot.

The new UI shows mine taking up 2GB, but on the classic UI I have three boot environments taking up 2GB total.
Maybe that is why it is experimental......

smooth upgrade from 9.10 .. just a cosmetic(?) issue with Plex ... it's working just fine, but in the plug-ins, it shows as being turned off and nothing happens when you turn it on.

A bit of a non-issue at this point because Plex is working .. and I was going to delete the dataset with the warden template jail and recreate when 11.1 is out and iocage is configurable from the gui

Another success story here, went from 9.10-U4 -> 11.0-RC -> 11.0-RC2 -> 11.0-RELEASE
Zero problems!

EDIT:
11.0 finally ships with a fully working driver for Intel XL710 series.
What a great release :)

Hello guys! Newbie here.
I read a lot of problems with usb passthrough to vm - is it fixed in this build?

I need a linux vm with usb printer passed to it.
For cups server cuz of stupid canon ufr drivers only work on linux :(

Thanks for Version 11.00, looks very good.

Quick question - I have a FreeNAS instance still running 9.3-STABLE-201602031011. It has a number of iSCSI volumes configured for VMware hosts. Apart from the iSCSI volumes, nothing else.

Can I just change the update train to FreeNAS 11.00-STABLE and do an upgrade?

Will it keep the iSCSI and network configurations or will I have to re-configure it again?

Personally, I'd update to 9.10 first.

I've seen that. A reboot will clear it.

A reboot don't clear it, do the same after every reboot
