Anyone have any luck using USB 3 on a client to access freenas?
My HTPC is sucking wind using mobo network port and on it's ITX board there's no PCI-e I can use for dedicated NIC.
It's got 8 GB RAM at 1866 and an AMD A-10 6700 CPU so I don't think it's a terrible build.
Also, while it and other machines have IP based access to CIFs share for downloads, this machine never can see files while others can see files no problem. It's all guest access, so not sure why one PC would have issues, though this one is Win 7 and downstairs on same switch as freenas is Win 8.1 and Mavericks PC that see the files no problem.
