New to true nas hp proliant dl380 G5 not seeing hard drives.

Hi all

I’m very new to using truenas I brought a go proliant dl380 G5 and have loaded true nas onto it but when I go into the web my hard drives are not showing up is there a easy way to configure these to show up please.
I’m using 7 250gb SATA hard drives for storage

Welcome to the forums, sorry you are having trouble.

I suspect that you have one of the standard raid controllers in your server, but need an HBA for Truenas to function correctly. Here's one of our resources on this topic FYI: https://www.truenas.com/community/resources/whats-all-the-noise-about-hbas-and-why-cant-i-use-a-raid-controller.139/
This is a common issue and much discussed here - often solved with the purchase of a used controller on ebay. Come back once you've read up and ask for some spec and sourcing suggestions from UK members here.

I’m using 7 250gb SATA hard drives for storage

Those are very small drives these days--any particular reason for using them rather than, say, a pair of 4 TB disks in a mirror?
