I'm a complete noob when it comes to FreeNAS, but wanted to test it out. So I booted up an HP ProLiant DL120 G6 I had and installed FreeNas 11.3 U2.1 onto a flash drive and had the server boot from that. For storage I'm starting small with two WD Black 500GB drives I had. After some trial and error, I got the server to boot into FreeNAS and was able to access the web interface. However, looking in the storage menu, I see no trace of the two hard drives I have installed. Nothing in the "disks" or "import disks" menu. The BIOS can see them and FreeNAS sees them when booting, but nothing beyond that. The drives are running in AHCI mode in the BIOS and are not in a RAID array. Let me know if any additional info is needed, and thank you for your help.
