Freenas 11.3 - Windows Shared Folder Permissions

Hi Group,

I have clean installed new freenas 11.3 build and created two new Pool and setup the new user account with proper permissions. See attached. Now I can copy new video files and even can play and delete it with the same windows user that I have created. The problem is I can create the new sub folder but not able to delete the folder or move my files to the new folder. Can someone suggest how I can fix this?

I've not used the ACL editor yet, but it looks like Flags = Inherit will address the issue.

I just stripped ACL off my dataset.

ok, great. by picking the inherit, it fixed the issue. Thanks everyone.

No problem man. Now I hope someone can help me with my issue with Plex. Glad that fixed it man.

My next target is to setup the plex. Once I move over my data to the freenas pools, I'll start to configure plex. Hopefully this time it should go smooth.

"Inherit" needs to be enabled. I banged my head on this exact issue recently.
