mount from cd9660: iso9660/freenas failed with error 2

Hi guys
I'm new here first time installing Freenas, I keep getting the following error during boot. any help would be appreciated.
mount from cd9660: iso9660/freenas failed with error 2

Is your boot drive plugged into a USB3 or USB2 port? Searching this forum shows this can be an issue with USB3 ports. Try moving your boot drive to a USB2 port.

I tried booting from all 6 ports and still get the same error.
