Cannot Auto-Import ZFS Raid-Z built under ZFS Guru OS...Please Help

System:
AMD Athlon 5050e Dual Core
8GB DDR2
5 x 2TB Samsung F4s (Raid-Z)

Problem:
I cannot import the data pool. I can see the data pool when first using the auto import feature, but after selecting it and importing it, it does not appear. I have refreshed my browser and still nothing. If I try to import again, the data pool is no longer listed. However, if I reboot the system it is available to auto import again.

Am I missing a step here?

I built this raid-z using ZFSGuru and have actually lost the OS before and had to reinstall and import the data pool before with absolutely no problems. FreeNAS doesn't appear to have the level of simplicity I require, so I am hoping someone here can help.

PS - I am not command line savvy, but if given good directions can accomplish anything asked.

Do you know what version of ZFS that ZFSGuru uses?

And what version of FreeNAS are you using?

8.0 has trouble importing some volumes.

ZFSGuru uses ZFS v15 and I'm using the new FreeNAS 8.0. Is there a beta version or anything of FreeNAS that might have this solved by chance?

As protosd suggests, 8.0-RELEASE had problems importing volumes but this improved significantly with 8.0.1-BETA2 so try again with the latest, 8.0.1-BETA4.

You should be able to import your v15 ZFSguru pools once you are using BETA4.

If everything else fails take a look at the following thread:

You may have a corrupted ZFS pool.

Thanks everyone! Using 8.0.1-BETA4 solved this. I was able to import the pool just fine after that.
