Unable to connect through any other subnet (through routers)

As I have no control to make it static on the scope, its set to DHCP. Most of the time, hostname lookup over the network fails, ip can be pinged throughout. Smb is bound to its current ip.

Update: I have everyone connected to a zerotier vpn. This is not a fantastic solution as the latency is a tad bit too slow for our editors to work on 4k raw files.

I'm reviving this because now it is getting annoying. Zerotier hasn't always been the most stable, and now its finally getting to us. Any ideas to why this lovely system isn't able to send SMB to the rest of the network? SMB is bound to both ipv4 and ipv6, running 11.2-U2
