Hello,
i have 3x3Tb hard drives in a RAID 5 and one failed a while back. I just got it replaced and is saying it will take 5500 min to complete. I was wondering if this is a normal amount of time or too long.

Also in the information about the RAID volume, it has a status update.

3. Name: ad8
Mediasize: 3000592982016 (2.7T)
Sectorsize: 512
Mode: r2w2e3
Synchronized: 60371107840 / 2% (p:2704)
DiskNo: 0
Error: No

In there i am seeing a P:***X
I was wondering what that P stands for.

Lastly is there a way to raise the priority of a RAID rebuild so that it will be more CPU intensive and use more system resources.

Thanks

What version of FreeNAS are you using? None of your output looks like FreeNAS 8, are you using ZFS or UFS?

I'm sorry, these are the FreeNAS 8 Forums, there is a link to the FreeNAS 7 forums at the top of the page in the titlebar. FreeNAS 7 has reached its end of life and is being continued as Nas4free, the site is nas4free.org I think.
