Is there a way to disable the CPU temp box in the new 11.2 Dashboard?

I'm running an instance of FreeNAS 11.2 on an old Intel D955XBK motherboard with a Pentium D processor which does not support nor coretemp, nor it looks to report CPU temp via ACPI. I'm not going to ask to support such an old hardware (it shows temp in the BIOS, but probably it uses some custom method), but the new dashboard looks to keep on waiting to read temperature - at least the bar atop it keeps on moving. Maybe it should give up and just display "N/A"

Is there a way to disable the CPU temp box, so it doesn't attempt to read the temperature?

Not yet. For 11.3 we'll be taking advantage of the Angular upgrade to allow users to select the modules they wish to see and to drag/drop them into the order they would like for the display.

Yeah as @dlavigne eluded to, 11.2 is going to be a transitional version. I'll probably skip it altogether.

In my test VMWare instance of FreeNAS, there's also no temperature reported, and it the bar just animates forever...
