I just build a new system and installed 11.2-RC2. I didn't put it into much use yet, so the system is mostly idle for the moment. Today I got some coretemp warning from the console output. And I looked at the cpu temperature reporting from the new UI dashboard, the avg temperature is around 33C. But when I switch to the legacy UI, the reporting shows the temperature is around 56C with max = 95C! Whey there is a huge difference between these 2 reports? And why the CPU temperature could go such high without any load? My motherboard is supermicro x10sdv-tln4f, it comes with the CPU installed.
