I've been reading message for a while, to learn and get opinion about setup and issues.
Finally decided to subscribe, maybe to help if i can, but especially to learn more from my own questionings.
About me, i'm a software support engineer for European advanced service provider on different storage brand for more than 7 years now.
I build my first NAS about 18 years ago (Abit BP6, IDE drives, SAMBA, a nightmare but so fun for sharing files with friends )
As for many people here, geek by nature.
I also practice data recovery as a hobby for friends. To help and also because hard drive failure are sometime a shame that touch people who blindly trusted it to store their life.
Linux enthusiast for more than 20 years, i sometime play with BSD but not seriously.
