Greetings from Norway everyone
I'm just here to learn some new stuff.

I had a RancherOS-box going and I needed a NAS for that.
Found FreeNAS when looking for it

Found out that FreeNAS10 will support docker containers and scratched the whole RancherOS idea.

My old setup:

I don't use Cacoo anymore I now use https://draw.io.
It's much better and free!

Here is a live shot before my pfSense-box died :-(

I now have a new pfSense-box

Used to run a few machines in a Xen-server.

This was OK, but the allure of docker was too strong.
So I now need to learn new things

The few of you I have talked to already have been very helpful

Welcome! Hopefully you have some luck with the docker project. I love Docker Containers, and am too looking forward to centralizing everything on FreeNAS 10.

Which version of XenServer are you running? I've got 6.5 on my network, and have been looking for someone who's upgraded to 7 to see what they think.

Thanks.

I was running Xen-Server version 6.5 in the end, started at 6.2, was very happy with it.
Have not tried 7, and hopefully I never will :)

Have been trying to wrap my head around this whole container thing, and the plethora of tools to manage it all.

I just have to get my feet wet I guess.
Learn by failing alot.

edit:
I just wasted hours of a developers time. *feelsbadman*

Welcome aboard!

I really need to get my feet wet and learn what docker is all about. I look forward to you sharing your experience.
