Hello, I would ask if I try to install cp do I need to create an additional dataset or can I just keep media as existing one?

If you mean to install CP on, FreeNAS creates the plugin jail's dataset for you, so no.

If you mean for CP file storage, your choice how you organize your files amongst datasets. I personally have all my media (videos/music) on a single dataset that I mount into my plugin jail(s).
