Changing Out Network Card

Dealing with a power outage that is causing weird connection issues, my next step is to try a new network card. My question is what configuration is required. Will TN auto detect the new NIC Card or is there something I need to do prior to the change out?

Your network card shows up as a particular card type, such as "em" for older Intel 1Gbps cards, and if this changes, that could be a problem if you've done network configurations that are dependent on it. It's best to try to stay with the same type of network card if you can.
