Can't get any of the services started.

I am totally a n00b. I downloaded 8.0.2 on my home computer and
work computer. I should have toook screen shots, but alas I didn't. I am now trying
to download a previous version (8.01????) Anyways, I dowloaded 8.0.2 and set it up, using
VMware workstation 8. I made its own 2 gig drive and installed it
there and then added two more disks to play around with.All of that went easy. I am trying
to present those two disks to a win2008r2 cluster as seperate drives and that part it kinda vague, but I was
trying to follow a guide and and I think I was just trying to do this using extents. Anyways, I can't slide the iscsi slider
over. Matter of fact, I can't slide "any" of the services sliders over to turn them on. On my home computer I was
able to do it for a second but it slide back to the off position. I then tried reloading it, and now I notice when I
try to slide it over a very quick and faint message appears at the top saying service can't be started. I don't see that
at all on my work computer. IT just simply doesn't work. Anybody else run into this? I am looking at this through the
webgui, if taht was not aleady obvious.

Thank you for taking your time to reply. Do you know if that is an issue only with Freenas 8.02? Do you know if using Freenas 8.01 or
even going back to Freenas version 7 will work?
