January 24, 2011

The New Year has arrived, bringing with it new beginnings and opportunities for iXsystems. This year we plan to evolve as an organization taking our business to new heights, while promising to meet our goals. Most importantly, we hope to build new relationships by providing innovative products and quality services.

To kick off the New Year, iXsystems will attend numerous tradeshows to promote and increase awareness of Open Source Software, and showcase its new products. We are extremely excited and ready to attend some of the most elite open source conventions in the world. We invite you to attend these events and stop by our booth to learn more about our organization.

We will be attending the following tradeshows this year:

The 9th Annual SCALE Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Hilton hotel. The expo features technical seminars to promote and educate the public about various topics in open source software. In addition it allows people within the open source community to share their projects with leading experts in open source. Among those experts, BSD Guru Dru Lavigne will discuss her role as PC-BSD® Community Manager and introduce PC-BSD® to beginning users. As the corporate sponsor of PC-BSD® and supporter of the FreeBSD Project, we will be exhibiting these operating systems at the event.

This conference will be held at the Tokyo University of Science, attracting users and developers of BSD operating systems around the world. Kris Moore, Creator of PC-BSD®, will discuss new developments within the PC-BSD® project. If you want to learn more about PC-BSD® and FreeBSD, this conference is not to be missed.

LinuxFest Northwest: April 30th-May 1st
