MeetBSD Recap and BSDTalk Podcasts

}

November 18, 2010

We are pleased to report that MeetBSD California 2010 was a tremendous success. With the help of the unConference format, attendees were able to talk about the topics of greatest interest and relevance to them. Discussions on the first day resolved issues with virtualization in a few hours that would normally take months to address.
Attendees enjoyed the lunchtime BBQ consisting of burgers, hot dogs, and assorted condiments. The after party was also a big hit. Conference organizers and attendees were able to unwind after a productive two days of BSD interaction. The party highlight took place when our mascot, Beastie, came out on the dance floor and jammed on the drums.
We would like to give special thanks to Will Backman for the footage he took during MeetBSD 2010.
