zfs dataset backup to public cloud

Hello,
i run nextcloud in the jail, with its own dataset with inherited encryption.

I was wondering if there is some easy way to backup whole solution including Jail, the easiest way seems to be direct sync of encrypted dataset to cloud provider which supports that, or just use backup on file level utilizing borg (worst solution).

Any bright ideas?
