Not unless it a pre-2.0 board. Mine was already the latest and its over a year old. So unless you get a board that has sat on a shelf for a very long time it should be fine.

Checking with seller about bios version is no problem when the time comes.
Got a new a new wireless N router coming from ISP, question, does IPMI take up another ethernet port on the router?
I guess I'll have to pick up a switch as the new router only has four LAN ports and I have two desktops that are hard wired.

So it has been a productive and informative day. My wish list has changed and been updated and now comes more study
of ZFS raid types, I read a bit of the RAID5/RAIDZ1 is dead link in your sig today. If I don't work to many hours this
coming week, I'll soon get to the point of thinking long and hard about my uses of this server, so I may choose wisely
in regards to the type of array will best suit my machine. Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts today, it has
become late and my bed is calling. Y'all take care:D
