won't boot from livecd?

As tittle says doesn't boot from live cd,dl latest version and burned to a disc with imgburn
when i put it in my nas it boots from cd and finds bootloader
after that .i get a rotating cursor and nothing happens after that.
What am i doing wrong?
Please advice.

Are you running your FreeNAS from a USB thumb drive?

If so and you have access to a linux box, I've found it to just be easier to follow the docs to preload the image onto the USB drive and then just plug that back into your machine. That was how I did my upgraded from 8-9 (Besides that my server doesn't have a cd drive) But that went really quick just loading it onto the stick.

No i have it burned from livecd cause i can't boot from usb
I noticed the same problem with several hdd attached/disconnected no difference stays on the rotating cursor and no booting.
It says it found the bootloader conf.?
after that nothing happens

You mentioned you can't boot USB. What are the specs of the machine?

cpu amd4quore 3200mhz
8gb ram
500 w psu
6x2tb wd

Don't know why but it doesn't

Allright i've got it running,it seems that the problem was that i had sata connection 5+6 on mobo set as ahci as the connections 1 till 4.
Don't know why this was a problem.
So now the sata ports 5+6 are connected as ide and the first 4 as ahci.
