I have downloaded iso and installed the i386 version to install on a usb thumb drive several times. (downloaded iso, burned image to cd or dvd and used them to install) Drive is 4 Gb. Bios is set to boot to uSB and I have manully chosen to boot to USB but same message. Boots to Default 0:fd (0a)/boot/kernel/kernel Boot: .I tried entering da0 here for the usb but still no success.
I see a lot of threads regarding the same or similar issue but I don't really see a solution. USB was working before, after the first install, I was no longer to see the contents with a Win 7 box so I assumed it formatted it and installed it.
Tried booting to another machine and it failed too.
