Try doing this in the legacy GUI. There are a couple of bugs in the 11.2 new GUI. It should also be more familiar to you, as it's the same GUI as FreeNAS 9.

It looks like that what I did in the new gui appears in legacy.

at looking through freenas videos, I found one about creating volumes. In that video I found out about snapshots. I went to my snapshots, and rolled back to before my screw up, and after rollback everything is back to working. Thanks for your help

Yes, I had for the movies server, but I guess I didn't have it for the tv server. So I guess I will have to wipe out the pool and recreate. Lucky I backed up most of the TV shows on a portable backup drive
