upgrade to 9.3 failed, unable to boot now

I attempted to upgrade from 9.2.1.8 to 9.3 via the GUI, when extracting the firmware it stopped at 33%. I rebooted via the GUI, upon bootup all I get is a blinking courser. The OS is on a SanDisk 16gb USB drive, not sure what what my options are at this boot to get the system back up and running?

This is an AMD system, not sure of the MB model at the moment.

Try to do a clean install from CD/USB/whatever.

I realize that is an option, but I'm trying to avoid going that route so I don't have to reconfigure all my jails.

A clean install won't require you to redo your jails. You do a clean install and then import your config file.
