I "upgraded" from U2 to U3 this morning ignoring my usual practice of waiting a few days. I should have.
The upgrade went smoothly and rebooted to U3. I found that some shares were no longer accessible although others with the same user name and password were. When I activated U2 again and rebooted, everything worked properly. It appears that SAMBA is messed up.
I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT INSTALL U3 UNTIL IT'S FIXED. IT'S A MESS.
