Running 9.3 stable. All my plugins (sickrage, sabnzbd, plex, couchpotato, and transmission) were running fine earlier today. I updated Plex to the latest release by turning it off and using the FreeNAS GUI to update.
After the Plex update, I am unable to download anything. I get a permissions error. I check the permissions of my media dataset and it's set to the media user. Transmission is set to 777 and the correct incomplete and complete directories. It also shuts itself off after it gets the error.
Very strange. I should also mention, I do have my plugins setup following Joshua Parker Ruehlig's guide.
I'm nervous to update FreeNAS to see if that fixes anything as the last time I did that I had so many issues I essentially had to rebuild everything from scratch. I did use the GUI update feature in 9.3 last time I attempted the update and had to downgrade to get things to work.

UPDATE: restarted freenas and everything seems to be working fine. SOLVED.
