Test conveyance impossible !!

Bonjour

Suite à l'assemblage de mon FreeNAS, j'ai fait tourner le memtest et là j'attaque le test des DD mais j'ai un soucis !

En effet le test de conveyance ne marche pas !! Est-ce normal ? ou alors un test qui n'est plus d'actualité ?? Ci-dessous ce que ça me dit dans la console !

Jusqu'à maintenant je n'ai pas vu un seul disque SATA sans le conveyance test.

C'est du HGST classique ;) 4To en 7200tr/mn ! donc c'est les disques qui le supportent pas ?

Ok, peux-tu poster le résultat de smartctl -a /dev/ada0 (ou da0 si tes disques sont sur un HBA) stp ?

Ok, il le dit lui-même "No Conveyance Self-test supported." donc effectivement tu ne peux pas lancer ce type de test sur ces disques. Ce n'est pas grave, passe simplement à la suite ;)

oui c'est ce que j'ai fait ;) le 30% qu'il indique ça veut dire que le test Long que j'ai lancé est plus qu'à 30% de la fin ou c'est autre chose ?

Ah sinon il tourne à une température trop élevée (41 °C actuellement, 47 °C max enregistré par le passé), il n'est vraiment pas conseillé de dépasser les 40 °C donc je te conseille de revoir la méthode de ventilation pour résoudre ce pb ;)

Oui j'y bosse. J'ai des ventilos qui soufflent direct sur certains des dd, mais j'en ai 3 où j'ai pas de ventil direct donc je vais voir à optimiser ça ;)

Yep, c'est bien le pourcentage restant ;)

La température idéale est entre 30 et 35 °C et la plus stable possible, essaie de penser à ces paramètres quand tu optimisera ;)

Du coup j'ai lancé le badblocks test sur tous les disques mais y'en a un qui m'affichait une erreur bizarre au smartctl -a. Grave cette erreur UDMA ? ou pas ?? :-/

Habituellement c'est à cause d'un mauvais câble SATA ou mal branché.

ah oki donc pas un soucis disque mais un problème de communication externe, je changerais le câble SATA du dd en question alors ;)

si c'était l'alim je suppose que cela le ferait sur d'autres disques ;) je vais garder un oeil sur ce disque quand même au cas où !

par contre le badblocks c'est long, c'est long, c'est long...... à priori j'en ai pour 24h si j'extrapole l'avancement au bout de 2h.....

Yep, en général c'est même plus long, 2 à 3 jours semble être le temps moyen d'après ce que j'ai vu sur le forum.
