Terminate running replication

I accidentally set the targets for my replications incorrectly. One is copying over 2 TB that I will just have to delete. Is there any way to terminate it gracefully?

eew.. you can kill the zfs replication process.

Or the compressor process (if you set the replication stream to be compressed).

Thank you, killing one of the zfs processes did it. I assume there was one for send and one for receive. I'm doing this locally.

Which brings up another question. When I replicate to localhost, does the data go out the wire to the router and back again? It seems kind of slow.
