Recently upgraded my onsite and offsite FreeNAS boxes to take advantage of resumable replications.
I am observing that when the replications fail they are starting over from 0, and I can't find any clear description of how the resume replication feature is working.
Currently I have not modified the replication task from before, so it is a legacy task. I had some problems with the new replication recognizing the correct snapshots to send and also deleting snapshots that should not have been deleted.
The snapshot that I am having the hardest time with is 5.7 TB. I am shaping the replication to 30Mbps to reduce load at the distant, so it is pretty heartbreaking to fail at 60% after a couple of weeks.
Looking for any feedback or detail on the resumption of replication tasks.
