I shut down and restarted my FreeNAS for a planned power outage and I'm getting some sort of probe6.mps0 message I don't understand:

Code:
(probe6:mps0:0:6:0): INQUIRY. CDB: 12 00 00 00 24 00 length 36 SMID nnn terminated ioc 804b scsi 0 state c xfer 0

Message keeps repeating with the SMID value increasing each time

I can see a few references to similar problem when I google this but I'm not sure how to start interpreting it. Could some kind soul point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Ian

mps0 is the LSI SAS2 driver for SAS2 controller number 0. As for the meaning of the specific error, you'll need an LSI SAS specialist.

Possibly, but I'm not familiar with this error message.

Ok, thanks. Anyone?

This is the configuration from the SAS BIOS if that helps. There are some SATA connected drives as well.

There /should/ be a device in SAS slot 4. Maybe this is the one causing problems? But if its not present in the BIOS why would the booter repeatedly try sending inquiries to it? And how do I stop it from doing so and allow the boot to proceed?
