iscsi error when trying to connect

Server 2012 R2 iscsi initiator to truenas 12.u1connected, would lose connection about every 15 minutes, reconnect, and now only gets error when trying to connect manually because auto reconnect fails. I can ping -t the interface with no dropped packets.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
