Hi All - Let me start off by mentioning I'm a huge noob when it comes to FreeNAS. But some help would be appreciated.
I'm currently trying to configure iSCSI and having some issues with the networking. Here is what I have:
bge0: 192.168.48.192/24 - This is on my management subnet.
em0: 192.168.49.1/24 - Intended to be used for iSCSI target.
Initiator: 192.168.49.10 - Server 2012 workstation
I've gone through and configure the iSCSI side of things but I can only get the initiator to connect on the bge0 (With the iSCSI portal configured to do so). If I configure the portal to listen on 192.168.49.1 it is unable to connect.
I have verified connectivity (ping) between the FreeNAS box and initiator. I think I'm just missing something simple but I'm lost as to why I can connect to iSCSI on one interface and not the other.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Karrart
Edit: There was another device on the network with the 192.168.49.1 address... Told ya I was a noob :P
