Through several years and upgrades have my NAS still irregular got "corrupted" Interface, which means that I can not log me on using the browser. All services such. SMB and ownCloud continues as normal. The solution has been to enter via Supermicro IPMI View and launch the console from there. Then I deleted the LAN Interface and then it has again been possible to log on normally.

What could be causing the problem and there is a solution?

If I log on my pfSense router via SSL (Putty), I get a menu similar to the one VGA display. If I likewise, log on FreeNAS is window blank.

Is there opportunity to bring up a menu as VGA screen displays?
Is there a command I can use as both remove and possibly create LAN Interface again via SSL?

Thanks for any help,

Stein

What error do you get when you try to login using the browser? Are you using a lagg? What is the output of ifconfig when you attach using IPMI?
