Hi!

Just to add my 2 cents to this topic:
My config: N40 server 5 HDD, 32Gb Sandisk USB drive, worked like charm with 11.1-U6. Upgrading to 11.2 via web interface worked fine, but after the first reboot it stuck at the new boot loader. I tried to boot from the 11.2 installer which also did not work on this system. I had to revert back to 11.1-U6. :(

So the new boot loader doesn't like the Sandisk USB drives...
Don't think so. If it worked fine until upgrading, wait.
11.2 seems like a Coral Desaster, if you serch the forum, almost everybody has some problem with it.
I personaly did a 11.2 upgrade, and reverted back to 11.1 u6 the same day.

My N54L with Intel SSDs for the boot pool had no problem booting all 11.2 versions up to 11.2-RELEASE-U1. The latter updated successfully but failed to reboot after updating. A manual reboot seems to have fixed it though.

We have a guy reporting that he can't boot from an 11.2 U1 fresh key on his N40L - is this the case for others here?
My N54L upgraded from 11.2 to 11.2 U1 fine - but it's already installed.

I did a clean install of 11.2 U1 to an SSD on my N36L, no issues...

This guy is having issues from a bootable key. Maybe I'll try this weekend

I understand, was just adding info.
My first install usb stick didn't work (SanDisk - tried to burn multiple times, but always stalled on boot).
I changed usb stick (Toshiba) and all OK. I then installed to SSD.

I think there is too much concentration on USB sticks, I can boot about 5 other boot-loaders off any of my USB sticks on my N40L. The problem is software / conformation bias! The world does not need another cranky boot-loader.
