FreeNAS wont LACP to Unifi US-16-XG 10gig

I was setting everything up on my new Unifi switch and figured i could now have my FreeNAS Intel X540-T2 NIC aggregated on the new switch with LACP and not Load Balance since that is all my old switch would let me do. I tried a couple times in the GUI and on the server itself to set those ports in a LACP config and it would fail every time. No matter what i did they wouldn't connect to anything once they were in LACP mode.

Is the NIC too old to use LACP or is there something im just missing?
