Hello,

I am trying to set up LACP lagg with FreeNAS 8.3.0.

I am able to configure a LACP lagg interface named lagg0 with one NIC (Broadcom). The NIC is capable of LACP as a similar NIC is used in my vSphere 5.1 host for a VDS LACP.
Assigning an IP to that interface is impossible: Setting it to DHCP results in 0.0.0.0/8, setting it to a static IP does not have an effect at all.

On the switch I can see that every some seconds there's a LACP member with 10Mb/s, a moment later it vanishes again and reappears some seconds later. The Switch is configured correctly, STP is turned off for the corresponding ports and LACP is set up for these ports.

I also tried to replace the NIC with an Intel NIC but that results in an kernel crash as described here: http://forums.freenas.org/showthread.php?10565-Trouble-setting-up-link-agregation-in-8-3

The Broadcom NIC does work with FreeNAS 8.3.0 as I used this NIC as an iSCSI NIC in my FreeNAS box.

Is this a bug? What can I do to get this working?

Thanks
