Upgrade went flawlessly, just installed the VBox jail. Very nice including the phpadmin interface. Good thing it's a holiday weekend: Daddy needs some play time! :D

I'm certain all the developers are happy that they are done with the 9.2 version and can focus on the 9.3 flavor.

No longer does Apple's SMB2 client destroy the permissions on an SMB share. Previously, when uploading a new file, it would remove all access to that file (for itself included). Now things work correctly. I did go into the CIFS settings and manually set the max protocol to SMB2, and then check "Apply Default Permissions" in the relevant SMB share config.

Now i connect using the default SMB2 protocol instead of forcing to the old, slow SMB1.

Not working here. I had 9.2.1.3 -RELEASE working fine. Both pools healthy. Tried the GUI update, but after the first reboot I kept getting "Bad import list" (or something like that; I'm sorry I forgot to write it down).

The last couple of times it has stuck with a bunch of seemingly identical Traceback sequences ending in

"from django.contrib.admin.util import (flatten_fieldsets, lookup field,
ImportError: No module named util"

I'm viewing this via IPMI, but I don't seem to be able to capture all that I'm seeing on the screen.

@Z300M, please take a picture of the screen, and attach the JPEG to your post.
OK. FreeNAS2.jpg is the beginning of the Traceback report, FreeNAS1.jpg the end.

For the stellar work, I bestow my ultimate margarita recipe called the "Sweet Pea House Margy", named after my wife.

Ingredients;

3 oz of good tequila, I prefer a good quality anejo.
1 oz of simple syrup you make your self (sugar water).
1.5 oz of Gran Gala, better and cheaper then Cointreau.
1 oz of organic cherry juice
small amount of jalapeno with seeds (or w/o seeds).
1 entire lime, cut in 1/2 half
This salt;
http://www.salttraders.com/products/Margarita-Salt.html

Procedure;

Fill a shaker mostly with ice.
Put in;
Tequila
Simple syrup
Gran Gala
Cherry juice
Squeezed lime juice from both halves
Jalapeño

Shake that baby like you're in a music video.

Final;

Rub the squeezed lime half on the outside rim of your drinking glass.
Put salt in a small bowl and place the rim of the glass in it. You want a nice even salt distro on the "outside" of the rim.
And lastly pour the heavenly nectar from above into said glass.

Bayam.

Indeed! We've already started improving the UI. Those who are interested can download a 9.3 nightly and check it out...

@Z300M, please start a new thread. Your issue starts with /etc/netcli that is responsible for the final console menu, so it is after all the hardware setup was completed.

Try reloading 9.2.1.6 onto a USB memory device that you zeroed first. Or another USB device altogether.
