I Have Dual Nics,
One Static bce0 to my Firewall (DHCP Did Work Before going Static), 192.168.11.xxx
One DCHP bce1 to a Private network with a DHCP Server. 192.168.10.xxx
When i restart the DhClient on freenas for bce1, Wiresshark shows
DHCP-Discover from 0.0.0.0
Followed by
DCHP Offer 192.168.10.14, from my dhcp server.
DhClient reports no offers and goes back to 0.0.0.0
No Working leases in Persistent DataBase - Sleeping
Network wise everything tests good, when boot into Herins Recovery Desktop and get 2 DHCP Leases one for each NIC without any problems.
Totally Lost
Some more information i am running a Dell DL360 G5 with BroadCom BCM5708 Dual Nic.
I have just attempted to set bce1 to static, 192.168.10.201
ifconfig confirms the IP.
From another machine I ran Ping to 192.168.10.201.
tcpdump -i bce1, confirms the ARP, Request correctly.
My other machine shows destination unreachable
