earlier today i installed freenas on my old desktop. everything runs fine, but when i try to connect to my CIFS share windows explorer says access denied.
i followed a tutorial on youtube to do this.

1. I create a zfs volume

2. I created an account

3. I created a new CIFS share

Have you tried \\"ip freenas\"your share ?. Have you tried map a network drive with \\ip\your_share and check "Connect with other credentials"?
