Changing Jail Subnet

Hi, I wanted to change my jails subnet from x.x.1.0/24 to x.x.0.0/24. I've given the jail configuration the new range and newly installed plugins grabs the correct IP and works. For existing jails if I change their IP, the plugin would not turn on and a shell from inside doesn't have any network access out...I can't even ping the gateway. Though if I change the setting to DHCP it works fine.

Are you even hosting X.X.0.0/24 from a Layer 3 device? What device are you using as a router?

Hi, Joseph, thanks for replying. I believe I resolved my issue by disabling vimage for the jails and they were able to communicate out using static IP. Not sure what the relationship is between vimage, static and dhcp but it's working.
