Hi all,
I'm pretty new with Freenas and Linux/BSD.
I build a Freenas with 5 disks. Made 2 ZFS volumes and several ZFS datasets which I share via CIFS.
Made several CIFS shares for 2 users.
I can see the server in my network (NAS-SERVER). When I double click it, it ask me to login. When the is just booted up, I can access (same username on freenas and windows machine) it without a problem.
In the console of the freenas I see the following. Sep 21 16:56:17 nas-server notifier: Performing sanity check on Samba configuration: OK
As soon as I see that, I cannot access the freenas server with the correct password. It simply denies my access.
When I access freenas via Wifi on my Android phone (used app is ES Explorer) there is no problem at all.
Does anybody know what to do?
It used to work fine but I changed the password for 1 user in Freenas and assumed this change will be done fo everything this user should be able to do on the freenas.
I getting nuts over here so any help is welcome!
Thnx in advanced
Kind regards,
Ralph
