I've been lurking here and reddit/freenas for a while; spending the past few months going through docs, guides and youtube videos on freenas+zfs
Have been a long time pfsense user so am familiar to a certain extend with FreeBSD already.
Some drives in my Synology are on their way out the door, so I'm looking to build something new for home use. Basically file storage and VMs.
Planning on posting my planned rig in "will it freenas"
