I just upgraded by NAS to 9.2.1-Release from 9.2.0.... and now bad things are happening with my jails..

I created a new jail for Centos.. but the networking appears hosed...
When I open a shell and type the ifconfig cmd no ip info is displayed and this shows up in the NAS log
Feb 8 22:03:39 nas kernel: linux: pid 10977 (ifconfig): ioctl fd=6, cmd=0x891d ('',29) is not implemented

I've deleted the jail and started over ...lather, rinse, repeat, same results...
Any thoughts?
I managed to forget to grab a copy of the 9.2.0 config prior to upgrading... any ideas on what will happen if I create a another flash drive with 9.2.0 and try to import the export from .1 ?

The same thing would happen. It's a know issue that networking inside linux jails "looks broken", but it really isn't. Also, those messages are just saying that some linux functionality is missing. It's okay! ;-) If you type "jls" from the base system, you'll see the IP address of the linux jail, and you can ping it and access it still.

Thanks...

I had tried that as well, I think it may have been something during the last upgrade process...think i started from 8.x and have just been doing up grades.. took a fresh export from 9.2.1 and did a clean install to another jumpdrive and imported my stuff back over...now things are acting as I would have expected... that error no longer shows up and the jails function normally.
