Is anyone else experiencing extremely slow GUI updates or hanging when configuring volume permissions or other items which require popup windows to appear?

e.g. Change Permissions GUI in Active Volumes tab - a small popup and progress bar appears and says 'loading... please wait' - 10 minutes later I am still waiting.
It eventually appears, and I can successfully configure, then I get a similar wait for it to apply after I click 'change'.

I do not see any light activity on the USB drive when the config is underway, but the motherboard drive activity light is on (presumably activity on the actual UFS formatted drives).

The drives are freshly formatted with no files, and I am trying to set initial owner:group and perms values for share mounts (primarily will be using CIFS/Samba).

I am using FireFox 4 to access the FreeNAS web interface

I have following config:

FreeNAS8.0 RELEASE amd64.iso burnt to CDRW and installed to Verbatim 8Gb USB flash drive.

AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 255 CPU AM3 3.1GHz (65W)
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H AM3 AMD890GX 4DDR3 2PCIE2.0 RAID GLAN 3FW SATA
Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 2GB (1x XMS3 2GB) PC-12800
6 x 1.5TB UFS formatted drives, no RAID

It may be your RAM. My system bogged down with 2GB ram after I went from 3 disk to 8 disk array. Peace restored when I upgraded to the recommended 4GB.
