FreeNAS 10: Graphical Consoles in VMs | TrueNAS 9.10 RELEASE | And more… | Issue #35

Hello FreeNAS Users,
In case you hadn’t heard the latest, FreeNAS 10 just achieved a major milestone: Graphical consoles are now supported in virtual machines! As we continue to work on FreeNAS 10, we’ve also made significant improvements to its enterprise counterpart, TrueNAS. To learn more about the new TrueNAS release and hear a client share their experience with the storage array, read on.

Great news– FreeNAS 10-Nightlies builds now support graphical consoles in VMs! We will continue to work on and polish this for release but in the meantime, if you have a non-production system somewhere, feel free to test this new feature out now. Read more >>
TrueNAS 9.10 is Now Available
We’re proud to release TrueNAS 9.10 which updates the underlying OS to FreeBSD 10.3 and greatly improves performance, graphing, and replication. New and existing TrueNAS clients can upgrade via the UI. Read more >>
