Hey guys,
I've stumbled on to an odd problem regarding permissions. I have FreeNAS setup with a CIFS Share on the network and I'm having permission problems in a certain use case, which seems odd.
So I use the computers in the network for 3D rendering, and while they can read all the files they need fine, they can't write the rendered output to disk.
However, when not using the network render manager and just rendering / working on the computers themselves, everything works just fine. It's only when I have them all work together in a queue that it stops working.
I've tried a lot of options to get it working but none really seem to get me there, does anyone have any suggestions as to why the share behaves differently in this particular use case?
Thanks in advance,
M.
