I created a cifs share for local user with the same username and password used for login as described in the manual. When I click the folder(which has the same name with login username) it asks for username/password, but it didn't accept the entered values.
(I try this on Windows XP Professional which has no Active Directory support)
Any help? Thanks.

Does logging in and logging out of XP make a difference? If not, post your CIFS share settings.

Logging in and out does not make difference.

CIFS settings:
Authentication model: Local User

Description: FreeNAS Server
DOS charset: CP437
Unix charset: UTF-8
Log level: minimum
Local Master: checked
Time Server for Domain: checked
Guest account: nobody
except Allow Empty Password all checked for the rest

CIFS Share Settings:
Name: admin-share
Path: /mnt/ZFS2Volume
Browsable to Network Clients: checked

What are the permissions on ZFS2Volume? What is the home directory for the user?

Thanks for the useless comment.
You will not last long here with that attitude. Good luck getting help after everyone ignores your posts.
