Hi folks,
Is it a must to restart the freenad iSCSI service for ESXi to recognize the expanded iSCSI target?
My iSCSI target is a file extend. I expanded it, but the ESXi can't notice the change even after a rescan. Eventually I need to disconnect all targets, and restart the freenas iSCSI service until the new disk size is recognized.
If a restart is really needed, is this a bug?? I think it is quite impossible to restart if it is in a production environment!
