SOLVED upsizing pool

Hello

I would like to have more space in my pool.

currently I have 8x 3 tb working. Today i got 6x 10 tb.

I know there is a way to remove one HDD and resilver to the new one, but will it work with 2 HDDs less?

any other way known for best practise? 8hdds to 6 hdds

Unfortunately, you cannot reduce (or increase) the number of disks in a vdev. You have two choices - back/restore the data into a new 6 disk vdev, or, if your h/w allows for it, add a second 6 disk vdev to the existing pool.
