i have a raid5 with 4*1T disk. it's work fine in FNS 7. in my FNS backup config file.
<disks>
<disk>
<uuid>1be6625c-7451-4dcd-b30c-0a720df93bd0</uuid>
<name>aacdu0</name>
<devicespecialfile>/dev/aacdu0</devicespecialfile>

<size>2860022MB</size>
<smart>
<enable/>
<extraoptions/>
</smart>
<fstype>ufsgpt</fstype>
</disk>
</disks>
this is FNS 7 mount config
<mounts>
<mount>
<uuid>817e4288-1817-4ee4-9443-9e64766b451c</uuid>
<type>disk</type>

<owner>root</owner>
<group>wheel</group>
<mode>0777</mode>
</accessrestrictions>
</mount>
</mounts>

when i installed FNS 8,in web gui i chose import volume.
than chose aacd0p1 and UFS type. chick import.
then a long time have no effect.i close my brower and try again. again ..again..
in this time .i found fsck_ufs is running......:(... so i think need long time is normal..
so i got sleep.
when i wakeup..
they have a log of error message. so i reboot it and try again..
it's say
The selected disks were not verified for this import rules.

i think maybe something wrong ,so i reinstall FNS7 ...and restore my config.
but......

it's wrong!!!!!

it's say my disk miss...

so when i check it. /dev/aacd0u change to /dev/aacd0p1 ..i don't know why it happend.

i try fsck and fsck_ufs fsck_ffs

freenas# fsck /dev/aacd0
fsck: Could not determine filesystem type

freenas# fsck_ffs /dev/aacd0
** /dev/aacd0
Cannot find file system superblock
ioctl (GCINFO): Inappropriate ioctl for device
fsck_ffs: /dev/aacd0: can't read disk label

freenas# fsck_ufs /dev/aacd0
** /dev/aacd0
Cannot find file system superblock
ioctl (GCINFO): Inappropriate ioctl for device
fsck_ufs: /dev/aacd0: can't read disk label

i try mount..
freenas# mount -r /dev/aacd0p1 /mnt/r5
mount: /dev/aacd0p1 : Invalid argument

so i realy need help to find my data.
my fstab and my mount

freenas# cat /etc/fstab
/dev/ufs/FreeNASs1a / ufs ro 1 1
/dev/ufs/FreeNASs3 /cfg ufs rw,noauto 2 2
